Mrs. Floral V. (Flo) Porter, 73, of Cisne, died at 11:40 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 1985, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital where she was admitted a short time following an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Porter was the widow of Clarence Porter.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hosselton Funeral Home, with burial in Cisne Cemetery.

A native of Wayne county, Mrs. Porter was born June 24, 1912, the daughter of Steve and Pearl Clemmons Turner.

She was married to Clarence Porter at Rinard. Nov. 30, 1935. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1982. Mrs. Porter was a housewife and homemaker during her marriage.

Mrs. Porter was a member of Brush Creek RLDS Church at Johnsonville.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Donna) Gibson, of Cisne; two
sons, Robert and Ivan Porter, both of Cisne; three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Leah)
Hawkins, of Cisne: Mrs. Elberta Powless, of Rockford; and Mrs. Jimmie (Kathryn)
Forth, of Johnsonville; one grandchild and one step-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were two brothers and a granddaughter.
