A former Fairfield resident, Cloyd Lee, 72, of Mission, Tex.,
died at 5:30
p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 1985, at McAllen Methodist Hospital in McAllen,
Tex. Mr.
Lee was in declining health for several months. He and his wife, Edna, moved to Mission from Fairfield in 1981. Mr. Lee was the brother-in-law of Don Sheraden, of Fairfield
Funeral services were Conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Nale's Funeral Home, with Rev. David Logsdon officiating. Burial followed in Burnt Prairie Cemetery at Burnt Prairie.
Mr. Lee was a native of Wayne county, born July 22, 1913, to Reece and Maggie Freeland Lee. His family lived in the Boyleston area until moving to Maunie when Mr. Lee entered high school. He graduated from high school at Crossville.
He was married to the former Edna Sheraden at Burnt Prairie, May 13, 1933.
Mr. Lee was a U. S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was discharged with the rank of Seaman First Class.
Before moving to Fairfield in 1972, Mr. Lee was employed with Delco-Remy Company at Anderson, Ind., for 30 years.
He followed the Protestant faith and was a member of the Fairfield Masons.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Sheraden Lee, of Mission, Tex.; and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
