Mrs. Marion B. Swan, 56, a Keenes housekeeper, died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 1985, at her home following a longterm illness.

She was the mother of Allen and Mike Swan, both of Fairfield; and Edward Swan, of Keenes.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday (today) at Ten Post Oak Missionary Baptist Church at Keenes, with Rev. Richard McCormick officiating.  Interment followed in the church cemetery. Richardson Funeral Home at Wayne City handled the funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Swan was born in Bement, Dec. 14, 1928, the daughter of Fred and Etta Cameron Wilcox. She was raised in the Keenes area by her uncle and aunt, Lawson and Mary Wilcox, now of Wayne City, after the death of her parents early in her

Mrs. Swan lived in the Moline area for several years prior to returning to Keenes in 1966.

She was a member of Ten Post Oak Missionary Baptist Church and belonged to the women's church society.

Survivors include four sons, Allen and Mike Swan, both of Fairfield; Edward Swan, of Keenes; Dale Swan, of Salem; one sister, Mrs. Rayburn (Jean) Petticord, of Wayne City; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
