Mrs. Lena Redfearn, 93, of McLeansboro, died at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday at the McLeansboro Life Care Center from causes incident to her advanced age.

She was the mothe  of Dr. Omer Redfearn, Jr., Fairfield optometrist.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning from the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. with Rev. Bill Tomberline officiating. Interment followed in the IOOF cemetery.

Mrs.  Redfearn was born in Hamilton county Jan. 11, 1892, the daughter of William G. and Emma M. Echols Daily.

On May 4, 1912, she was married to Omer H. Redfearn, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the McLeansboro First Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Omer, Jr., of Fairfield and Jack Redfearn, of Green Isles, Minn.; two daughters. Mrs. Lucille Fuchs, of Greencastle, Ind.; and Mrs. Mary Meadows, of Hudson, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters.
