Mrs. Marcella Branson, 66, a Wayne City housewife, died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 1985, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital at McLeansboro.

Mrs. Branson was ill for sometime. She was the mother of Mrs. Susan Brubaker, of Wayne City

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home at Peoria, with burial in Swan Lake Cemetery in that city. No local funeral services have been planned at Gholson Funeral Home at McLeansboro.

Mrs. Branson was born in West Field, Ind., Oct. 12, 1918, the daughter of Ivol H. and Grayce Belle Harrington Staples.

She was married to Roscoe Branson Oct. 12, 1940. He preceded her in death. The couple lived in Washington, Ill., prior to Mr. Branson's death.

Mrs. Branson followed the Protestant faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Susan Brubaker, of Wayne City; one son, Ronald Branson, of Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Key and Mrs. Juanita Eakle, both of Kevlin, Ky.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
