A former Wayne county resident, Mrs. Evelyn Holt, of Westland, Mich., died Apr. 12.  Mrs. Holt was the widow of James Holt.

She was the daughter of the late John and Lela Bennett.

Funeral services were conducted at Uht Funeral Home in Westland, Mich.

She was the mother of Vergie Jackson and the late Mildred Blackshear.

Alsosurviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Bauer, of Gainsville, Fla.; and JuanitaCory; two brothers, Walter and Mortie Bennett; five grandchildren and threegreat-grandchildren.
