Mrs. Emmer Richison, 87, of Fairfield, a former Sims area resident, died at11:40 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 1985, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Richison was the mother of Raymond and Clarence Windland, of Fairfield. She was a resident at Way-Fair nursing home since last December, when her home onSummit Street burned. Mrs. Richison was in ill health for some time and experienced a stroke prior to her hospitalization, a few days before her death.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Funeral Home,Wayne City, with Rev. Charles Marshell officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery near Boyleston.
Mrs. Richison was born in Wayne county Dec. 12, 1897, the daughter of Leviand Martha Jane White Wheeler.
She was first wed to James Henry Windland at her home Mar. 30, 1918. He died Nov. 29, 1940. Later she married Frank Richison at Sims in February of 1946. Mr.Richison preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1972. The Richisons moved to Fairfield in1968. Mrs. Richison was employed for several years at Camp Sewing Factory. She was a housewife and homemaker during both of her marriages. She was a member of Sims Christian Church.
Mrs. Richison is survived by two sons, Clarence and Raymond Windland, both ofFairfield; two step-sons, Charles Richison, of Hoffman; and Bob Richison, of Florrisant, Mo.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Glen (Shirley) Feather, of Dunlap; five grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
