Robert William (Bill) Lauderback, 68, of Flora, died at 9:19 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 1994, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.   He was retired after working 37 years for Valley Steel, of Flora.

Mr. Lauderback was the father of Mrs. Don (Judy) Land, of Cisne.

Funeral rites were conducted Thursday afternoon (today) from the Oak Street Baptist Church in Flora, with Bro. John Spears and Bro. Dan Yeager officiating.  Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. A visitation was held Wednesday evening ay Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, and at the church prior to the#service Thursday (today).

He was born at Flora Aug. 11, 1925, the son of John O. and Florence Wireman Lauderback.  On Oct. 26, 1946, in Morganfield, Ky., he was married to Thelma M. Persinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Robert Lauderback, of Flora; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Judy) Land, of Cisne;  four grandchildren; one brother, Jonny Lauderback, of Flora; and one sister, Thelma Smith, of Highland, Tex.
