Michelle (Shelly) Egleston Dies;
Invalid Since Birth Michelle (Shelly) LeAnn Egleston, 16 died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1988 at Welborn Baptist Hospital, where she had been a patient one week.

Shelly, an invalid from birth, suffered a cardiac arrest at the home of her grandparents, Dwight and Betty Reever here on Tuesday, Dec. 6. and was taken to Welborn after emergency care at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. The child was reared by the Dwight Reevers.

Funeral services were conducted from Johnson Funeral Home Thursday afternoon (today), with Bro. Carroll Kakac here, and Bro. Les Boldt of Olney officiating. Interment was in Haven Hill cemetery at Olney. Visitation was at the funeral home Wednesday night.

Shelly was born Oct. 19, 1972 in Champaign, the daughter of James Egleston and the late Gail Reever Egleston.

Shelly attended Fairfield First Christian Church and was a member of the JOY Class.

Surviving are her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. James (Sandy) Egleston, Olney; a half-sister, Leslie Egleston and two half-brothers, Ryan and Chance Egleston of Olney; her grandparents, Dwight and Betty Reever of Fairfield; step-grandparents , Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jones of Olney, and a number of aunts and uncles in Fairfield and Olney.
