Bernice Cralley, 38, Fairfield, died at 4:55 p.m. Friday Dec.
16, 1988, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She had been in ill
health with cancer for some time.
Services were held Monday (today) at 2 p.m. at Jesus Name United Pentecostal
Church in Fairfield with Rev. E. L. Ervin officiating. Burial was in Richland
Cemetery near Boyleston.
Mrs. Cralley was born Feb. 4, 1950, in Tunica, Louisiana, the daughter of Ben C. and Opal (Anderson) Tyree. The family moved to Fairfield shortly thereafter. Mrs. Cralley belonged to the FCHS class of 1968. On July 3, 1975, she was wed to Wayne Cralley in Fairfield. He survives.
Several years ago she had worked as a lab assistant at Fairfield Memorial Hospital for about 6 years. She had been a homemaker since. She was a member of the Jesus Name United Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne; her mother, Opal Tyree of Fairfield; a grandfather, William Anderson of Baker, Louisiana; three sisters, Mrs. Lonnie (Martha Jane) Mason and Mrs. Xon (Ruthie) Johnston of Fairfield, and Mrs Leon (Betty) Beckel of Cisne; and one brother, Ben Tyree, Jr. of Fairfield.
