Paul Teague, 72, Dallas, Tex., former Fairfield resident, died early Thursday morning (today) Dec. 8, 1988 in a nursing home in Dallas. He had been in failing health with emphysema and asthma.
The body is to be cremated and memorial services will be held Saturday at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.
On Aug. 17, 1944 he married Esther Steiner of Fairfield, sister of Lester Steiner, well-known local retailer here.
Mr. Teague was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion in Dallas. He also belonged to the Eilks Club and Masonic Lodge, also of Dallas. He retired about ten years ago as a representative of McKeeson and Robbins Pharmaceutical Company. Many years ago he was associated with Oil Field Supply in Fairfield.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; four children, Jane, of Byers, Tex.; and Charles, Barbara and Mary of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Jean) McClintock of Flora and Anna Faye Mercer of DuQuoin, Il.; and eight grandchildren.
He had requested that all memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
