Leland Guinn, 73, Flora, died Friday night, Dec. 2, while coon hunting in northwest Wayne County, near the Tennessee Church.

Guinn was hunting with a couple of friends, also from Flora. Their dogs treed a coon, and the three men ran to the scene. Guinn stated he was not feeling well, sat down to rest and died. North Wayne EMTs were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday (today) at Hosselton-Boakhout- Engelmeier in Flora, with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.

Guinn includes among his survivors a brother, Donald Guinn of Enterprise.
