Arzie Vest, 91, of Wayne City, died at 5:34 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 1996, at his home.  He had been in declining health

Mr. Vest was a retired bus driver and custodian at Orchardville Grade School, where he served for several years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Hosselton Funeral Home, with interment in Jacobs Chapel Cemetery at Orchardville. Visitation will be at H@sselton's from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

He was born at Orchardville Dec 8, 1904 the son of E.E. and Lennie Bell Ellis Vest.  Mr. Vest was married to Gladys Fatheree in November, 1941 She passed away Aug. 29, 1980. Also preceding him in death were his parents, four sons, one grandson, three sisters and one brother.

He was a member of the Orchardville Pentecost Church.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David (Donna) Kracht, of Xenia, and Mrs. Donald (Sharon) Sharp, of Xenia; one son, Ronnie Vest, of Iuka; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and special friend Hazel Clevenger, of Wayne City.
