Mrs. Zella N. Clutter, 88, of Cisne died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 1996, at her home.

She was a housewife.

Graveside rites were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Cisne Cemetery, with Bro. Brian Flood officiating. The Hosselton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. There was no visitation.

She was born at Terre Haute, Ind., Aug. 3, 1907, the daughter of Walter and Neona Bowles Hornbuckle. On Jan. 29, 1927, in St. Louis, Mo. she was married to Fred L. Clutter. He passed away Aug. 30, 1980. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Mrs. Clutter was a member of the First Christian Church in Terre Haute, Ind., and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star at Cisne.

Surviving are two sons, Jack Clutter, of Cisne; and Bob Clutter, of Fairfield; two daughters, Mrs. Claude (Beverly) Lamb, of Cisne; and Mrs. Jerry (Carolyn) Walters, of Decatur four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
