Mrs. Grace Kelly, 84, a former Fairfield resident, died Monday, July 29, 1996, at Fayette County Hospital's Long Term Service Unit in Vandalia. Mrs. Kelly was a registered nurse and worked as a nurse at Fairfield Memorial Hospital for many years.

She was married to Ed Kelly and moved to Fairfield from Oklahoma in the 1940s, at the time of the Johnsonville oil boom.

Mr. Kelly preceded her in death. They had no children.

Funeral rites were conducted Wednesday morning from the Motor of the Dolors Catholic church in Vandalia.

There are no close family survivors.
