Retired farmer and railroad worker Glen Allison, 67, of Iuka, formerly of Wayne County, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 1984, at his home of an apparent heart attack.

He was the son of the late Lewis and Grace (Henson) Allison.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday (today) at Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home at Salem. Interment was in New Liberty (Wooley) Cemetery southeast of Salem.

Mr. Allison was born in Wayne County Mar. 24, 1917. He was married to the former Charlotte Jones in Marion County Nov. 28, 1935.

Mr. Allison was a member and deacon of New Liberty General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Allison, of Iuka; three sons, Harlan and Deon Allison, both of Iuka; and Brad Allison, of Salem, one daughter Mrs.Glenda Veller, of Junction City; two brothers, George Allison, of Salem; and Orville Allison, of Clay City; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death was a son.
