Fairfield resident, Mrs. Margaret White, 83, of 304 E. Center St, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 1984, at Burgin Manor Nursing Home at Olney

Mrs. White entered the nursing home recently following hospitalization for a medical condition, the Press was told. She was a Mother-in-law of Judge Harry Ziegler, of Fairfield.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. White was born in White County July 27, 1901, the daughter of Frances "Ned" and Margaret (Addison) Parish. She was wed to Harry C. White, who preceded her in death November of 1954. Mr. White operated a Ford dealership at Carmi.

Mrs. White served as housemother at DePauw University following her husband's death until 1971, when she retired and returned to Fairfield. She was a member of Carmi Presbyterian Church and belonged to the DAR and other civic organizations. She was a member of the Fairfield Wednesday Club.

Survivors include two sons, Richard "Judy" Bonnelli, of Robinson; Jack Bonelli, of Boca Raton, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
