Retired farmer, Noval Talbert, 86, of Wayne City, died at 12:20 a.m.Tuesday Dec. 11, 1984, at Way-Fair Restorium.

Mr. Talbert was a resident of the nursing home for the past 3-4 years, the Press was told.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (today) at Richardson Funeral Home, at Wayne City, with Rev. Bob Schook officiating. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery at Wayne City.

Born in Wayne County July 9, 1898, Mr. Talbert was the son of Benjamin and Ada (Scudamore) Talbert. He was married to the former Mabel Moore June 22, 1940.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel Talbert, of Wayne City; a sister, Mrs. Dessie Johnson, of Fairfield; and four nephews and two nieces.
