Funeral services for William Perry Marsh, 77, of Thompsonville, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Parker Reedy Funeral Home at West Frankfort. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Koontz Cemetery at Fairfield.
Mr. Marsh, formerly of Wayne County, died Monday at a West Frankfort hospital following a massive heart attack. He was formerly a resident of the New Hope community.
Born in Wayne County Jan. 9, 1907, Mr. Marsh was the son of George and Millie Marsh.
Mr. Marsh was a retired meat packing house employee, who previously worked for an East St. Louis packing house.
He is survived by his wife, Clair Irene Marsh, of Thompsonville; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Eisenhower, of West Frankfort, a brother, Roy Marsh, of Fairfield; one sister, Hazel Marsh, of Fairfield; and one grandchild and great-grandchild.
