Mrs. Helen Fiello, 84, of Fairfield, died at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday,July 19, 1994, at Clarkston Court in Cisne.  Mrs.Fiello had been at the nursing home about a month,  She suffered a stroke in May and also had diabetes.

She lived in the Springerton area much of her adult life.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Elder Dale Warren officiating.   Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation at the Johnson Chapel will be 6 to 8 Thursday evening (tonight).

She was born in Hamilton County June 4, 1910, the daughter of George and Louetta Fuqua Thomas.  She was first married to John Tucker, who died in 1939. Later she was married to Nicholas Fiello. He passed away in 1980.

Mrs. Fiello was a member of the RLDS church at Springerton.  She was active in the Senior Citizens Center at the Kon-Tiki.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Charles (Anita) Cushman, o f Fairfield; two brothers, George Thomas, of Springerton; and Dale Thomas, of Florida; three sisters, Blanche Anderson, of Valparaiso, Ind.; Velda Foley, of Chesterton, Ind.; and Dorothy Williams, of Louisville, Ky.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
