Mrs. Russell (Alma) Gibson, 87, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died at a nursing home there Sunday night. She was a former Cisne area resident and a sister of Sam J. Miller, of Fairfield. Mrs. Gibson had been in failing health two years.

Services will be held from the Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Fla., Thursday evening. The body is being cremated. Later the ashes will be returned to Wayne County, for interment at the Evangelical Cemetery at Enterprise.

She was the daughter of Louis and Rosa Miller Miller and was born in Wayne County.  She was married to Russell Gibson.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Charles Gibson, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Harold Gibson, of California; one daughter, Rosanna Carl, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a number of grandchildren and one brother, Sam J. Miller, of Fairfield.
