There were inaccuracies in an obituary of Mrs. Vernell Hutchinson that appeared in the July 4 edition of the press.

A daughter of the deceased, Joan Harris of Wood River, was incorrectly identified as a stepdaughter in the obituary.

Also, Mrs. Hutchinson did not practice locally as a nurse and was hospitalized from February until entering the Olney Care Center two weeks prior to her death.
