Mrs. Alice F. Johnson, 78, of Flora, died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield at 6:42 p.m. Friday, July 8, 1994.

She was the mother of Donald E. (Bud) Lewis of Cisne and Betty Cook, of Geff.

Funeral rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, with Bro. Patrick Gill officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery at Flora. Visitation at the Frank & Bright Chapel will be 6 to 8 o'clock Monday evening (tonight).

She was born in Vila, Okla., Oct. 22, 1915, the daughter of Charles W. and Laura Myrtle Lambert Hurd.  On Aug. 16, 1947, she was married to Clarence Steve Zimmerman, in Morganfield, Ky.  He preceded her in death. On Apr. 22, 1983, she was married to Henry Kelly Johnson. He passed away Mar. 2, 1984.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter, four brothers and four sisters.

She was a member of the Bethlehem Christian Church at Clay City; the Flora Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the Flora VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are one son, Donald E. (Bud) Lewis, of Cisne; two daughters, Betty Cook, of Geff; and Barbara Padgett, of Eagleville, Tenn.; one sister, Junatia Farmer, of Flora; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
