Bob's note:
1) Batthews Augustus Jones was born in St. Francois County, Missouri,
not Sims, Illinois as the obituary states. My g-grandfather A. C.
Jones & family moved to Missouri sometime in the 1870s and did not
return until after the youngest son, Homer Ezra Jones had been born in
1883 in Springfield, Missouri.
