Cisne, Ill. -
Jackie J. “Jack” Clutter, 73, of Cisne passed away at 4:35 p.m.
Saturday at his home.
Jack was born Feb. 5, 1935 at Cisne to Fred L. and Zella (Hornbuckle) Clutter. He married Betty Nelson on March 11, 1961 at Cisne, and she survives.
He retired in 1970 with the Illinois State Highway Department. Jack
was a veteran of the Army Reserves.
He was a member of the Cisne Christian Church, the Scottish Rites at
East St. Louis, Ill. and the Shriners. He was also a 50-year member of
the Cisne Masonic Lodge #1111.
Jack is survived by his wife, Betty Clutter of Cisne; daughter Christina
LeBeau and her husband Jeff of Bloomington, Ind.; and sisters Beverly Lamb
of Cisne and Carolyn Sue Walters and her husband Jerry of Mount Zion, Ill.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jacob and Nicolas Bauer and three
step-grandchildren: Reyn, Dane, and Gwyn LeBeau.
A Masonic service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a funeral service
at the Hosselton Funeral Home.
Burial will be at the Cisne Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be given to Clay County Hospice and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
