Mrs Elizabeth Phillips, 55, of 1304 Leininger Road, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Apr. 16, 1995, at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Mrs.  Phillips, the former Emma Elizabeth Leininger, and wife of Hamp Phillips, had been in declining health with cancer for the past year.

She worked at Airtex Products as executive secretary for the vice president, for 20 years.

Funeral rites will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Nale's Funeral Home, with Bro.  Marlin Manning officiating. Interment w ill be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation at Nale's Funeral Home will be 6 to 8 Tuesday evening.

She was born at Olney Mar. 8, 1940, the daughter of Henry and Ella Pearl Gill Leininger.  On Dec. 31, 1970, in Fairfield, she was married to Edward Hampton Phillips.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of Fairfield First Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter Mrs. Everett (Eleanor) Dulany of Wayne city; and two grandchildren.
