Arthur M. (Si) Myers, 87. of Carmi died at 3:17 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 8, 1995 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in that city.

He was a retired carpenter.

Funeral rites were conducted Tuesday morning from the Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, with Wayne Daniels and James Burrell officiating. Burial was in Newman Cemetery near Carmi. Visitation was held at Campbell's Monday evening.

He was born Mar. 2, 1908, at Burnt Prairie, the son of Charles Oscar and Mary Agnes Downen Myers.      On May 28, 1933, he was married to Beatrice E. Hall.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Ann Bradley, of New Concord, Ohio; and Beth King, of Carmi; three sons, William G. Myers, of Evansville, Ind.; Robert W. and John D. Myers, both of Carmi; three sisters, Elizabeth Myers and Lorene Fields, both of Carmi; and Helen Bolerjack, of Evansville, Ind.; three brothers, Charles O. Myers. of Carmi; Allen (Doc) Myers, of Alpharetta, Ga.; and David L. Myers of Clearwater, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 72 great- grandchildren.
