Mrs. Lauraine Taylor, 69, of Rt 1, Mt. Erie, died at 12 midnight Tuesday. Apr 11, 1995, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

A housewife, Mrs. Taylor had been in failing health.

Funeral rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with Rev. Jim Williams officiating. Interment will be in Scott Cemetery at Mt. Erie. Visitation at Hosselton Funeral Home will be from 7 to 9 o'clock Thursday evening (tonight).

She was born at New Harmony, Ind., Oct. 14, 1925, the daughter of French and Nora Mountry Johnson.  On Mar. 27, 1948 in Princeton, Ill, she was married to Floyd (Dick) Taylor.

She was a member of the Mt. Erie Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Dennis Taylor and Rick Taylor, both of Mt. Erie; two brothers, Eugene Johnson, of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; and Kenneth Dale Johnson, of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; two sisters, Kathaleen Mathews, of New Harmony, Ind.; and Mrs. Ida (Joan) Conyers, of New Harmony, Ind., three grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Preceding her in death were four brothers and her parents.
