Claude W. Lamb, 84, of Cisne, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2008 at his home.
Claude was born April 27, 1924 at Naylor, Mo. to John and Mary (Triner) Lamb. He married Beverly Clutter May 22, 1954 at Cisne.
He was a Retired Chauffeur for Rexall Drug at St. Louis and then worked three years at Lockbox Delivery Service at St. Louis. He was a WWII veteran. Claude attended Pleasant Grove Christian Church at Geff. He was a 56 year member of Naylor Masonic Lodge #567 at Naylor, Mo. and Anthony Doherty Masonic Lodge #1111 at Cisne and a honorary member of Flora Masonic Lodge. Claude was a 25 year member of St. Louis Moolah Shrine and Clay County Shrine where he was a member of the Widget Patrol. He was also a 27 year member of Rexall Credit Union and a member of the Cisne Eastern Star Lodge #973. During his lifetime, Claude walked more than 25,000 miles.
Claude is survived by his wife Beverly of Cisne; son Johnny Lamb and his wife Kathy of Florissant, Mo.; sisters Mary Dergance of Naylor, MO; Lela Jones of Corning, AR and Kitty Knox of St. Louis. Also suriving are grandhchildren Dawn Watkins and her husband Tom and Daniel 'Joe' Halbert and his wife Deanna all of Florissant, Mo.; and great grandchildren Madison Watkins and Ethan and Jacob Halbert.
Preceding him in death were brothers John, Harry, Bob and Jim; sisters Allie and Lea and his parents.
