WAYNE CITY

Robert L. "Bob" Johnson, 72, Wayne City, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Way-Fair Restorium in Fairfield.

He had been a farmer, timber cutter and auctioneer.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Vera Alene Johnson; two sons, Robert Dennis Johnson of Mt. Vernon, Ill. and Walter Daniel Johnson of Wayne City; two daughters, Vera Darlene Dulaney of Mackinaw and Beverly DeAnna Pickett of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; four sisters, Rosemary Rawls of California, Eva Littlefield of Norris City, Ruth Bullock of Wayne City and Sue Woolever of Sims; two brothers, Donald Johnson of California and Floyd Johnson of Marion; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Olive Branch Cemetery near Wayne City. There will be no visitation. Friends and family members are asked to go directly to the cemetery. York Funeral Home of Wayne City is in charge of the arrangements.
