MARY OLIVE, youngest daughter of William and Minerva MURPHY, was born in Wayne Co., June 29, 1859,  died May 6, 1928 at age 68 yrs. 10 mos. and 7 days.  She married James Grove Nov. 29, 1883 and  no children were born to this union.

She was last member of a large and well known family.  Her father William was a pioneer of the county.  The brothers Francis, Edward, Augustus, Jerry and Charles and the sisters Mrs. Emily Black, Mrs. Elizabeth Colvin and Mrs. Lucy Walker have all preceded Mrs. Grove in death.
