The Press has received word of the death of Roy Vaughan, 81, a native of Barnhill township.

Mr. Vaughan, a resident  of Deland, died Wednesday morning at Monticelo Hospital.

He was the brother of Dee Vaughan, of Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning in Deland with  burial in that city.

He was born in 1901, the son of Daniel H and  Emma (Sanders) Vaughan.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi; one brother, Dee Vaughan, of Fairfield; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Tompson, of  Greenwood, Ind.

Among those attending the funeral will be Mr. and Mrs. Dee Vaughan and Ed Vaughan, from Fairfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl King, of Mill Shoals
