Laura A., daughter of  Robert and Maggie Odell, was born Oct 10, 1909, died Jun 3, 1935, at the  age of 25 years 7 months and 23 days.

She was married to J. E. Simpson Oct 2, 1929.  To this union, one child was born.

Laura was converted 8 years ago.  She expressed her happiness and satisfaction to her new life in Christ.

She was a devoted wife and mother.  She loved her home and had many friends everywhere she was known.  Her home was in Flint, Mich.  It was a place where love and happiness reigned.

The family  was enjoying a pleasure ride Monday evening when the fatal accident occurred and the beautiful life was so suddenly  ended.  She leaves to mourn her departing, loving husband, a daughter, Betty Lou, aged 4 years.  Her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Odell, of Fairfield, Ill., one brother, Ernest Odell, Weldon, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Russell Bradford, Flint, Mich.; Mrs. Fred Clark, Fairfield; Mrs. Pender Swage, Burnt Prairie; and  Mrs. Chas. Hucher, of Mill Shoals, Ill.;  two half brother, Glen Odell, of Burnt Prairie and Herman Meeks of Pontiac, Mich.; one half sister, Orpha Meeks of Barnhill and a host of relatives and friends.
