George P Simpson was born Jan. 28, 1864, and died  Oct 21, 1918; aged 54 years 8 months and  21 days.

He was married October 2, 1890 to Jennie M. Fox.  To this union were born six children, one of whom preceded him to the better world.

He professed  faith in Christ in early li fe and. was a loving father, a faithful companion and good neighbor,.  He was a member of the M. W. A. for 10 years.  Surviving are a lovely wife, five children, one grandchild, one brother, and  other relative and  friends.  Funeral services were held from the residence Wednesday Oct  22rd with interment in the Simpson cemetery.
