MRS. IDELLA SAVAGE
DiES AT MT. CARMEL

Lifelong Resident Of Mill Shoals
was 81; In Declining Health
Some Time

Mrs. Idella Savage, 81, a lifelong resident of Mill Shoals, died at 3:30 Sunday afternoon at the Lodge Nursing Home in Mt. Carmel. She had been at the nursing home for two months and had been in declining health for some time.

She was the widow of Joe Savage.

Funeral Tuesday

Funeral services will be held from Nales Funeral Home at two o’clock Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Vernon Brown officiating, Burial will be at Schrewsbury cemetery in Mill Shoals. The body will be at Nales Funeral Home until the funeral hour,

She was born near Mill Shoals March 1st, 1875. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Files. Mrs. Savage was a member of the Mill Shoals Methodist church.

She was married to Joe Savage and two sons were born to this union. Her husband died in
1946.

Surviving are her sons, Walter, of Mill Shoals: and Everett, of Anderson, Ind. and two sisters,Mrs. Louelia McCullough and Mrs. Emma Puntacy, both of Mill Shoals.
