Oan A. VAUGHAN
DIES AT HIS HOME
SOUTHEAST OF CITY
John A. Vaughan died Saturday morning at his home southeast of Fairfield. He bad been in ill health for some time and had been confined to bed since the later part of June.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at the Pleasant Grove Church, Rev. N. Courson had charge of the service. Interment was in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
John Anderson, son of T. F. and Katherine Vaughan was born February 22, 1875 in Wayne County. He spent much of his life in the West and returned to his old home after the death of his father.
Mr. Vaughan died at the home where he was born at thè age of 52 years,6 months and 11 days.
Heis survived by four brothers arid tour sisters, namely Daniel, of Samhill, Henry, Preston and Grorer of Fairfield, andthe sistêr, Celia Harris of Olney, Nancy Bonner, of ?ons •-mottt Iowa, Mary Peniáns, Bauth, and Vituia Smith of Brecvr:svilio,
