Retired Burnt Prairie Farmer
Arnold Musgrave, 82, Dies
Arnold R Musgrave, 82, a well-known retired Burnt Prairie farmer, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 20, 1933. at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Musgrave had been a hospital patient for 12 days suffering from a bleeding ulcer.

Services Wednesday

Funeral services will be conductedat 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Alva Merritt ofticiating. Burial will be in Burnt Prairie Cemetery.  Visitation will be beld after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Mungrave was born in Wayne County Mar. 23,1900,  the son of Asburv Davis and Eliza Jane (Harl) Musgrave.

He was married to the former Allie Short Nov. 3, 1920.

Mr. Musgrave had served on
the Woods and Drainage Committee for Leech township.

He was a member of the Concord General Baptist Church near Grayville.  After the congregation was disbanded, Mr. Musgrave attended the West Antioch General Baptist Church at Burnt Prairie.

Mr. Musgrave was a member of the White County Farm Bureau.  His farm was located on the Wayne-White county line.

The Survivors

Survivors include his wife, Allie Musgrave, of Burnt Prairie; two sons, Ernest Musgrave, of Burnt Prairie, and
Lowell Musgrave of Creston, Ohio;  four daughters Mrs. Leland Reva) Meeks. and Mrs Lavern (Mildred)  Edwards. both of Fairfield: Mrs. Norma Duckworth, of Burnt Prairie; and Mrs. Vera Musgrave of Evansville, Ind.; one brother, C. W. "Bob" Musgrave. of Prairie; onesister. Mrs. Gladys Funkhouser, of DuQuoin;  13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
