Mrs. Mary Mason, 73, of rural Wayne City, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 18, 1996, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

She was a homemaker.

Funeral rites were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City, with Rev. Richard McCormick officiating.  Interment was in Olive Branch Cemetery. A visitation was held at Richardson's Saturday evening.

She was born in Wayne County Sept. 15, 1922, the daughter of Grover and Lorene Fout.  She was married to Ray Mason. He passed away in June, 1993. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, one brother and one sister.

Surviving are two sons, Charles R. Mason, of Wayne City, and Richard Neil Mason, of Wayne City; one daughter, Mrs. John (Norma) Dallas Williams, of Wayne City; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
