Paul A. Linder, 65, of Fairfield, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, Apr. 17, 1996, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He had been in declining health.

Mr. Linder was a sawmill and timber worker.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Rev. Otto Windland officiating. Interment will be in Koontz Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 Thursday evening (tonight) at the Johnson Chapel.

He was born in Wayne County July 9, 1930, the son of Paul and Grace Sharp Linder.  Mr. Linder was married to Nancy Fitzgerald.

Surviving are his wife; four brothers, Dean Linder, of Fairfield; Earl Linder, of Ohio; Dale Linder, of Lawrenceville; and Clyde Linder, of Olney; and one sister, Mary Fitzgerald, of Fairfield.
