Vernon Robert Redmon, 66, of Mill Shoals, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Apr. 12, 1996, at his home.      Mr. Redmon, a retired farmer, had been in declining health for the past year.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Bro. John Reed officiating. Burial was in Shrewsbury Cemetery at Mill Shoals. A visitation was held at the Johnson Chapel Saturday evening.

Mr. Redmon was born in White County Oct. 25, 1929, the son of Arthur and Afton Newby Redmon.  In July of 1950, he was married to LaDonna Hetzel.

He was a member of the Mill Shoals Ruritan Club.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Gary, of Albion; three daughters, Sharon Redmon, of Carrollton, Tex. Mrs. Bob (Kathy) Lerzo, of Kennesaw, Ga.; and Mrs. Mike (Janee) Pelham, of Mt. Carmel; two sisters, Thelma Roy, Springfield, Mo.; and Joan Hart, of Evansville Ind.; and one grandchild.
