Mrs. Nadine Walker, 76, of Joliet, and a former Cisne resident, died at 4:20 p.m. Sunday at the Joliet Terrace Nursing Home in Joliet.
She was a housewife.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with Rev. Bob Fear officiating. Interment will be in Barth Cemetery at Enterprise. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hosselton Funeral Home.
She was born in rural Cisne Aug. 25, 1919, the daughter of Cloyd and Laura Reid Farmer. She was married to Silas Walker. He passed away in 1971. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter and one brother.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Bailey Methodist Church near Wayne City. Earlier in life she was a member of Trinity Methodist Church at Enterprise.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Walker and William Walker, both of Channahon; one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Joan) Polk, of Republic, Mo.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
