SKETCH OF MRS. WITHROW
(Myrl Emily Withrow)
Myrl Emily Withrow, daughter of Richard Benson Copelin and wife in Mt. Carmel, was born August 30th, 1885, in Wayne county and passed away May 7th at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 23 days.
She was united in marriage to Elim Ramsey Withrow Sept.2nd 1906 in Wayne county. He preceded her in death November 17, 1939. To this union eight children were born. Three preceded her in death, Clarence and Copelin in infancy and Beatrice Schultz at the age of 37 years. Those that survive are, Gertha Withrow, of Chicago; Floyd, of Steward; Lloyd of Fairfield; Clayton Esmond; and Golda Ile, of Browns. She leaves twelve grandchildren to mourn her passing, together with two sisters and two brothers, David and Fred Copelin, of Xenia and Mrs. Myrtle Feather of Little Rock, Ark.; and Mrs. Ethel Beasley, of Xenia.
Mrs. Withrow was converted to the Christian faith as a girl and united with the General Baptist church, in which she held her membership at her death. Funeral services were held May 10th, from the Dickeyville Baptist church By Rev. Earl Barton. Burial was in the church cemetery.
