William E. Bondy, 62, of Paradise Valley, Ariz., died at his home there Tuesday morning, Apr. 2, 1996.      He had been in declining health with cancer and had suffered a stroke.

Mr. Bondy was married to a former Fairfield girl, Mary Helen Vaughan, daughter of the late Jeff and Helen Vaughan here.

The Bondys had lived in Arizona the past two years and before that resided in Chicago where Mr. Bondy operated a pharmaceutical manufacturing business.

The body was cremated.  Memorial services will be conducted Monday in Chicago.

He was married to Mary Helen Vaughan Sept. 11, 1964.

Surviving are his wife; three children, Bruce and Brian, both of Chicago; and Julie Talatian, of Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren; and one brother, Fred, of Chicago.
