Mrs. Hattie Margaret Bashore, 87, of Cisne Manor, a former Fairfield resident, died at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1983, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Bashore was discharged from the hospital a week ago and re-admitted Monday.  Death was due to the infirmities of age. She was a resident at the Cisne Manor Nursing Home for the last five years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nale's Funeral Home with Rev Gary Gelsinger officiating.  Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Bashore was born in Wayne county Oct. 15, 1896, the daughter of William Henry and Frances (Cline) Morlan.

She was married to Ben Bashore on Sept. 7, 1919.  He preceded her in death Aug. 31, 1979. Mr. Bashore was a carpenter and painter.

Mrs. Bashore was a housewife and homemaker during her marriage.      She was a member of the Fairfield General Baptist Church.

Surviving are four sons,  Donald, Conard (Connie), and Bud Bashore, all of Fairfield; and Frank Bashore, of Geff; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Elizaheth) Lane, of Cisne; Mrs. Robert (Wanda) Leveque, of Napa, Calif.; and Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Hall, of Altoona, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Eva Ferra. of Rockford; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
