James D. Brown, 64, of Tucson. Ariz., a former Rinard area resident, the father of Miss Melody Brown, of Rinard, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 1983, Tucson hospital, suffering from a heart condition. He is the brother-in-law of Neva Van Meter, of Rinard.
Mr. Brown lived in the Rinard area 16 years ago. He was a retired piano tuner.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Tucson with burial in that City.
The son of David and Julia Brown, he married the former Anita Van Meter in 1948.
Survivors include his Wife Anita Brown, of Tucson, Ariz.; four sons, Doug, Larry, Tim and Philip Brown, all of Tucson, Ariz.: two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Janalee) Cruz, of Tucson, Ariz; and Miss Melody Brown, of Rinard; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
