Julius James Hill, 58, of Newark, Ohio the brother of Mrs. Jim (Louise) McGowan, of Fairfield, died at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday, Apr. 26, 1983, at his home in Newark.

Mr. Hill was the owner of Tandy Well Service, of Newark, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Henderson, Van Atta and Johnston Funeral Home in Newark, Ohio. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in that city.

He is survived by his mother, Ludie Crawford, of Flora, his step mother,Gladys Hill, of Dennison, Tex.; three sons, Kenneth and Philip Hill, both of Shephard, Mich.; James R. Hill, of Clay City; three daughters, Mrs. Vicki Brooker, of Newark, Ohio, Mrs.  Clark (Deborah) George, of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs.Rhonda Jones, of North Hollywood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Onita Levitt, of Flora; Mrs. Valta Taylor, of Plano, Tex.; Mrs. Louise McGowan, of Fairfield; one step sister, Mrs. Darlene Barthold, of Wantonga, Okla.; 13 grandchildren.
