Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Mauck Kintzel were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Bustard Funeral Home in Casper, Wyo., with burial in Highland Cemetery there. Officiating were Allen and Larry Berlin.
Mrs. Mauck, born near Fairfield, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 1994, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. She had been in failing health.
She was born Sept. 26, 1910, in Wayne County, the daughter of Jacob and Minnie Hawk Mauck. She was educated thru high school in Fairfield and also in Evansville, Ind., where she attended Lockyear Business College. She was employed in Evansville for a time. On. Mar. 2, 1940, she was married to Otto F. Kintzel in Evansville.
They lived in Wichita, Kans., until 1942 when they moved to Mt. Vernon.
They moved to Casper in 1944 where they operated a printing and photo reproduction
business for 25 years. Her husband died Sept. 2, 1979. Also
preceding her in death were her parents, a stepdaughter, a brother
and two nieces. She was a sister of the late Loren Mauck, one time
County Treasurer here. Mrs. Kintzel was a member of the Paradise
Valley Christian Church and had been a senior citizens volunteer, a member
of the Oil City Dinner Club and a charter member of the Casper Gem &
Mineral Club.
Surviving are a stepson, Hubert O. Kintzel, of Wichita, Kans.; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Harris, of Witchita, Kans.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Elsie Mauck, of Geff; one niece; one nephew; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
