Mrs. Jennie G. Parrent Smith, 95, of Fairfield, died at Way-Fair Restorium Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1994.  She was a sister of retired Wayne City banker Otis Allen.   At one time she and her first husband, the late Henry Parrent, operated the White Kitchen Cafe here.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Bro. Oakley Miller officiating.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 Thursday evening (tonight).

She was born at Mt. Vernon July 6, 1899, the daughter of George Logan and Laura Belle Turner Allen.  She was first married to Henry Parrent. They lived here and then moved to Hot Springs, Ark. Her husband preceded her in death. In later years she was married to Nolan Smith, a native of the Wayne City area. He is also deceased. Mrs. Smith had no children.

Surviving are a brother, Otis Allen, of Wayne City; and a number of nieces and nephews.
