Brenice N. Holder, 88, of Springerton, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1994 at the Enfield Health Care Center in Enfield.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Simpsom-Volkman Funeral Home in Elberfield, Ind. Rev. Jack Ulrich officiated. Burial was in Barnett Chapel Cemetery.

She was a former school teacher in a one-room school at Millersburgh, Ind., and Castle Elementary School in Newburgh, Ind. She retired in 1972.  She also served as a member of the White County Senior Citizens
Board. She was a member of the Fletcher Chapel Methodist Church and the Acme Rebekah Lodge #306.     She married Everett Holder and he preceded her in death in 1972.

Surviving are two daughters, Norma Thomas of Springerton and Arzella Bannach of Lockport, N.Y.; a brother, Clarence Nicholson of Daylight, Ind.; two sisters, Bertha Cobb of Evansville and Marietta Foster of Paradise,
Ind.
