Mrs. Helen Hendrey, 84, of Holland, Ind., died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday (today) Oct. 20, 1994, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Her death was due to a heart ailment.

Mrs. Hendrey was a native of the Mill Shoals area, born there Oct. 11, 1910, daughter of Charles and Lena Funkhouser.  She was reared in that vicinity.  She was married to John Kenneth Hendrey.  They lived in Holland, Ind. for many years.  He preceded her in death, as did two sons and her parents.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Elledge Funeral Home in Mill Shoals. Tentatively, the funeral will be held Sunday from the Mill Shoals United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons living in Indiana; one son in Arizona and one daughter in New York; along with a sister, Wilma Puckett, of Fairfield; and two brothers, Clyde Funkhouser, of O'Fallon; and Oscar Funkhouser, of Enfield.
